Direct Store Delivery
Load Processing, Route Accounting and Inventory Tracking that Provides a Competitive Advantage
Due to increased competitive pressure, companies that deliver consumable products to their customers for distribution must improve efficiency and delivery productivity while maintaining or increasing delivery accuracy and margin. This means finding a better way to track and manage inventory and load processes and improve visibility and accuracy into inventory, load and delivery information.
Direct Store Delivery (DSD), from Junction Solutions streamlines route accounting and management. Because DSD is device agnostic, manufacturers can utilize a mix of handheld devices best suited to meet route requirements. This flexibility further lowers the total cost of ownership. DSD users can take advantage of data visibility within inventory, accounts receivable or general ledger within Microsoft Dynamics® AX without any additional integration.
Features & Benefits
Configuration
Provide support for both paper and mobile device-enabled routes to address full connectivity versus end-of-day synchronization needs. DSD can also be configured to include definitions for vehicle type, standing sales order type, standing transfer order and static route aspects, including route and customer receipt calendar, stop sequence, load sequence and more.
Daily Route Management
Streamline the creation of manual or automatic daily routes. DSD features the ability to add and remove stops, move stop to existing or new shipments, create ad-hoc shipments, manage route and load sequence, build a load summary by order, stop and shipment, optimize route planning and print a variety of delivery documents.
Route Delivery
Streamline vehicle inventory verification and adjustment, product delivery information management and future and return order creation. DSD facilitates payment acceptance as well as proof-of-delivery receipt and invoice generation.
Mobile Application
DSD extends the standard functionality of Windows Mobile capability through its mobile application option.
