PEET’S COFFEE & TEA, INC. CHOOSES JUNCTION SOLUTIONS AND MICROSOFT DYNAMICS AX

Lincolnshire, IL – June 9, 2008 - Junction Solutions, , a leading provider a leading provider of vertical industry focused enterprise software and services based on the Microsoft platform and Peet’s Coffee & Tea, Inc. (NASDAQ: PEET), the premier specialty coffee and tea company in the U.S., today announced an agreement where the specialty coffee retailer will purchase JunctionRES retail software and JunctionCPG consumer packaged goods software from Junction Solutions. Both solutions are built on Microsoft Dynamics AX providing a flexible, scalable ERP platform and were chosen by Peet’s to support its unique “roast to order” fulfillment system as well as its distribution requirements to meet the needs of its multi-channel customers.

Peet’s will use Microsoft Dynamics AX and JunctionRES to manage its growing order fulfillment requirements as well as financial management applications to serve the company’s 178 retail stores, 6,400 grocery partners, home delivery, foodservice and office coffee customers. Completion of the program rollout is scheduled for early fall of 2009.
