The Microsoft Dynamics™ AX financial management feature provides fast, reliable and comprehensive accounting, financial reporting and analysis capabilities. It lets you extend the appropriate information access within your business community, so that you can improve the efficiency of your existing accounting processes.
Microsoft Dynamics™ AX provides a rich set of basic financial capabilities including:
- General ledger
- Accounts receivable
- Accounts payable
- Purchasing
- Fixed assets
- Bank management
All financial modules are integrated with other sub systems (such as inventory, production, or project management) to minimize data entry and maximize accuracy. You may define how transactions are posted to ledger accounts during setup to adapt the system to your management practices.
Several methods of inventory valuation are provided along with a full set of accrual capabilities. Various date intervals (current year, last year, etc.) can be accommodated to permit flexible reporting and comparisons. The system also supports multiple currencies, and can convert currencies.
